General
Information
*All
dogs must
have the vaccinations listed on our
requirements page and we keep a copy of these records in our
files.
*Vaccination for BORDETELLA (Canine
Cough) should be given to all dogs that use any areas where
they will be in contact with other dogs. We constantly clean
and disinfect the daycare area so as to provide as much
protection as possible.
*All dogs
need their collars and leashes. Nothing else is needed for
your dog (except food, if your dog is staying overnight). We
have dishes, beds, couches, blankets, toys, and treats for
your dog’s enjoyment. If
you forget your leash, we have a few on hand if we need one.
*We would prefer all Daycare fees are to be paid in
advance, thank you. *For our overnight guests staying longer
then 7 days, we require half of the fee in
advance and the rest when you return. *We accept cash, interac
direct debit, Visa &
M/C. *Anyone is welcome to view the daycare during our regular
business hours. *Our
open hours of operation are 8:00am-5:00pm.
When requested for daily pickup later than 5pm, up to 5:30pm
will be allowed without extra charge.
*All
attending dogs must submit a fully completed application form.
Daycare
Enrollment Process:
Every
dog must have a meeting with us before being accepted into our
program. After the interview, if your dog is suited to our
environment, then we will have you fill in the information application, allow us to copy
your vaccine records, and
answer any questions
you may have. This should take approx. 30 minutes.
Overnight
Guest Enrollment: Same as Daycare above and if
your dog has not used our
daycare before, we ask you to have your dog spend one
or more days in daycare
first, so your dog will be accustomed to, be comfortable and
not stressed in
this type of open environment with other dogs. When
your dog is to be staying overnight with us, all you need to
bring is food.
Please put enough food in a container or zip lock bag,
with your feeding
instructions, along with any meds or supplements your
dog requires. We have a fridge, so canned food is fine. Always
add extra food, in the event
you should need
to leave your dog longer.
Notice
to everyone who might use our Overnight Lodging Service
We do not leave any dogs
unattended at the daycare facility when they stay for
overnight lodging. If the amount of dogs staying for overnight
lodging are of a low number during the week
, we will shuttle them to our home
where they are lodged in the same type of building environment
as the daycare service facility, an attached winter heated
building, then shuttled back to the daycare the next
morning for business opening time. On
weekends when the daycare is closed, & the numbers of
overnights are low, they stay at our home from Friday at5;00pm to Monday
at8:00am, when returned to the daycare for business opening
time. When the numbers are high enough, an attendant will stay at
the daycare facility for the overnights involved.
